We finally have cooler weather to enjoy Mexican hot chocolate and cookies!

Still cooking!

We were a little late getting started this year, but we just finished a week of cooking Pastelitos. Most of the students liked them. Some thought the guava was too strong. I am proud of them for trying new things!
I'm not sure what will be next in the kitchen....something yummy though!

Va a pescar (Go Fish)

We had fun playing Go Fish in Spanish. What a great way to practice our numbers and asking a question.

Making tortillas!

We are having fun making our own tortillas. We were able to roll out the dough and use a tortilladora to flatten them into our own tortilla!

If your child asks, buy the tortilla flour (harina para tortilla) from Food Depot in the Latin America section (aisle 6 I believe).
