Hola niños. Welcome back to FPD at home! I thought we should have a few minutes of cuteness today. Each day this week I will tell a little story about the squirrels in my front yard. 

Today look at some of the new words I will be using this week:

• la ardilla--the squirrel
• las ardillas--the squirrels
• el patio--the yard
• el árbol--the tree
• las hojas--the leaves

¿Cuántos perros hay? How many dogs are there?

Los perros están en un sofá.

¿Cuántos perros hay? How many dogs are there? 

¿Hay un perro? Is there one dog? No, no hay un perro.

¿Hay dos perros? Are there two dogs? No, no hay dos perros.

¿Hay tres perros? Are there three dogs? No, no hay tres perros.

¿Hay cuatro perros? Are there four dogs? No, no hay cuatro perros.

¿Hay cinco perros? Are there five dogs? 

¡Sí, hay cinco perros! Cinco perros en un sofá. 

¿Quién es esto?

Hola niños. 

Este es mi perro. Mi perro se llama Goldey. Goldey es una niña. Goldey no es un niño. Entonces Goldey es una perra. Goldey no es una perrita.

¡Goldey tiene diez años!
